1. Introduction and Acceptance

Welcome to KannanTheShowman.in (the “Website”). This Website is owned and operated by Kannan Purusothaman, trading as Kannan The Showman (under Indianmagicpro Entertainments and Illusion Lab). By accessing this Website or booking our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our Website or services.

2. Services and Bookings

We provide professional entertainment services, including magic, mentalism, and event emceeing for corporate events, weddings, birthdays, and other gatherings.

  • Eligibility: There is no age limit to browse the Website or book our services; anyone can make a booking.
  • Booking Confirmation: A booking is only considered finalized and the date “locked” once the required deposit is received.

3. Payments and EMI Options

All financial transactions for bookings and services are handled via direct payment methods.

  • Direct Payments: We accept direct bank transfers, UPI, or other agreed-upon direct payment methods. We do not process credit cards directly on the Website.
  • EMI Availability: For larger event packages, we offer an Equated Monthly Installment (EMI) payment option. Please contact us directly during the booking process to discuss EMI eligibility and schedules.
  • Taxes: All invoices are processed in accordance with Indian GST regulations.

4. Cancellation, Rescheduling, & Refund Policy

Because our availability is strictly limited, we enforce the following cancellation and refund schedule to compensate for the lost opportunity to book other clients:

  • Deposits: The initial deposit required to secure your date is non-refundable.
  • Over 30 Days Notice: If you cancel with more than 30 days’ notice, only the initial deposit is retained.
  • 15 to 30 Days Notice: If you cancel between 15 and 30 days before the event, 50% of the total agreed fee is due.
  • Under 14 Days Notice: If you cancel less than 14 days before the event, 100% of the total agreed fee is due.
  • Rescheduling: Requests to reschedule must be submitted in writing at least 14 days before the event. We will make every effort to accommodate the new date. If a new date cannot be agreed upon, standard cancellation terms apply.
  • Performer Cancellation: In the highly unlikely event of an unforeseen emergency that prevents the performance, you will receive a 100% refund of all fees paid. We will also leverage our professional network to help you find a suitable replacement.

5. Website Use and Intellectual Property

The content on this Website is strictly for informational and booking purposes. We do not offer user accounts, nor do we allow users to post or upload content to the Website.

  • Ownership: All content, including text, images, videos, logos, and performance concepts (including custom props from Illusion Lab), are the intellectual property of Kannan The Showman.
  • Prohibited Use: You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our Website content without explicit written permission.

6. Limitation of Liability

The information provided on the Website is on an “as-is” basis.
